Four things are recorded. None of them identify you.

What a pageview records

When a page loads, one request goes to this site's own server with four fields:

• the path you opened (e.g. /database)
• the host you arrived from (e.g. reddit.com) — the host only, not the page, not the search terms
• your country, from the connection itself, as a two-letter code
• your browser language

Your IP address and user-agent string are hashed with a one-way function before they are stored, and the hash is kept only so that reloading a page twice is not counted as two readers. A hash of an IP cannot be turned back into an IP. There is no identifier in a cookie, no fingerprint, no cross-site tracking, and no data-sharing of any kind.

Known bots and crawlers are dropped at the door and never stored.

What the email form records

If you submit an address, that address and the page you submitted it from are stored, and nothing else. It is used for one thing: the batch notes you asked for. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without a login. The list is never sold, rented, or shared, and it is not used to build an advertising audience.

To have an address deleted, write to lab@showmethetrades.com from that address and it is removed.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes the request on its way to you and keeps its own operational logs under its privacy terms. The pageview table described above is stored in Cloudflare's database product, in the account that runs this site.

Links that pay

Some outbound links to brokers or tools are referral links, and the disclosure for those is on the page that contains them. Once you click one, you are on someone else's site under their privacy policy and their cookies, not this one's.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion. Given what is described above, the answer will almost always be "a hashed pageview with no way to find you", or "the address you typed into the form". Ask anyway: lab@showmethetrades.com.
