Every test on this site ran on $10,000 — and almost nobody reading this has that. The lots were whatever the EA ships with, so on a smaller balance the same dollar drawdown eats a bigger share of the account. The smallest account that can hold one of these at a 15% drawdown is about $2,240. Put your own number in below and the list rebuilds.
Sorted by drawdown. “That drawdown in dollars” is what the worst peak-to-trough actually cost on the $10,000 test account — and it is the same dollar figure on your account, which is why the percentage changes.

What this arithmetic assumes, and where it is wrong. The tests ran on $10,000 with the lots each EA ships with. Scale the account down and those lots stay the same, so a $336 drawdown is 3.4% of $10,000 and 67% of $500 — that is the whole point of this page. But if an EA sizes by percent of balance instead of fixed lots, it scales down with you and the warning above is harsher than the truth. Read the lot-sizing input before you believe any number here.
And there is a floor no arithmetic can move. Most brokers stop at 0.01 lots. Below a few hundred dollars, the smallest position the platform allows is already a larger bet than the EA was designed for, whatever the settings say.
