Not a failure of the test. A result: the largest single group in the batch, and the one nobody publishes, because a list of things that did nothing looks like the writer wasted their time.
If you have ever attached an EA to a chart and watched nothing happen for an hour, this is that hour, 182 times. Forty of these never compiled, six were killed by the harness itself, and 129 compiled cleanly and then sat there without a single order — almost always because the symbol, the timeframe or a parameter did not match what the author tested on. One file in here opened 354 positions and closed none: it finished 88% down with every loss still sitting on the book, and the loss only became visible when the margin ran out. That is not an EA that did nothing. That is an EA that never had to admit anything.
